found these questions on another blog, and thought it would be something a bit different to what I usually do and you can try and get to know me a little better!

1. Are you named after anyone?
Not my first name which is Sophie-Louise, but my middle name is Jeanette and that was my mum's aunts name. I was named Jeanette as she sadly passed away from cancer before I was born, so my middle name Jeanette is in memory of her:)

2. When was the last time you cried?
I can't really remember, but I know I had an emotional week a few weeks ago. I had hurt my foot and was on crutches for two weeks. Not being able to move properly and relying on everyone made me really sad! But I'm better now and much more happy!!

3. Do you have kids?
No! Way too young for that!

4. If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?
I think so. I like to think of myself as a bubbly person and I always try and make my friends laugh!

5. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Yes! But so do my friends, we know that it is for humour instead of nastiness though:)

6. Will you ever Bungee jump?
I haven't really thought about bungee jumping but I would much rather sky dive! Defo on my bucket list!

7. What's your favorite cereal?
I don't really eat cereal but id probably say honey nut clusters.

8. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Teeth! Love a good set of teeth.

9. What is your eye colour?
Normally greeny-blue but more blue in the light!

10. Scary movie or happy endings?
Defo happy endings! I just don't enjoy scary movies that much, not because I'm scared but I just generally don't like the stories behind them.

11. Favorite smells?
Mango smelling things!!! Bodyshop mango body butter is absolute heaven! Also grapefruit smelling things are amazing!! So fruit basically haha.

12. Summer or winter?
Winter! I love being all cosy when it's cold outside and I love winter clothes! So much more comfy!!

13. Computer or television?
TV probably. I love watching my programmes on Sky + and I normally use Internet on my phone when I need it.

14. What's the furthest you've ever been from home?
We went to Florida once but I was only 5 and can't really remember it.

15. Do you have any special talents?
Nope, I'm really not talented at anything haha!

16. Where were you born?
Rhondda, South Wales

17. What are your hobbies?
Reading, watching YouTube, eating, normal teenage stuff.

18. Do you have any pets?
I have 2 dogs named Bailey and Cream. Mine is a bishon frise and my brothers is a jack russel.

19. Favorite movie?
I love a good classic! Dirty dancing is probably my fave! But I also like comedy such as mean girls and white chicks. They always make me laugh.

20. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, 3 brothers. I am the only girl:(

This very unattractive before and after shot can only mean one thing.. everyday makeup post! Below is the makeup I use on a daily biases to create an everyday look.

I started my base off with a BB cream. The BB cream I use is the Garnier Miracle skin perfecter. Ive been using this BB cream for a while and it gives a really nice, even tone look to my skin. I dont, however wear this religiously. I sometimes use a normal foundation when I have bad skin but as my skin isnt terrible at the moment I dont like to pack on too much base makeup so stick to a BB cream. I use a Real Techniques buffing brush to apply and I think this brush gives the bases a really flawless look.

After applying the BB cream, I cover any blemishes I have with Maybelline coverstick, which gives a fuller coverage to any spots that need it. I really like this concealer as it is high coverage to any blemishes but doesnt make my skin look cakey. I then go onto set all my foundation with Maybelline Stay Matte powder. This is a great drugstore powder as again it doesnt make your skin look cakey and keeps me matte all day.

I usually contour my face, but for everyday I just like to add a touch of bronzer to give me a bit more colour. The bronzer I use is Sleek contour palette in light. I really like this contour kit as for the low price it really is a handy thing to have in your makeup bag. The colout payoff is really good and it gives your face a healthy glow without looking orange. My skin is so fair that you would see the orange terribly!!  I added another bit of colour to my cheeks and used Mac's blush in Lovecloud. This is a lovely pink that gives your cheeks that lovely flushed look.

I feel brows are very important to a makeup look as I feel brows really frame the face. I like a strong brow look when going out but for everyday I just fill them in with a Mac eye shadow in Omega. This colour is perfect for blondes as it matches the colour of fair eyebrows.

I keep my eyes pretty simple and use a Maybelline gel eyeliner and Maybelline falsies mascara. On an everyday baises I dont normally wear eyeshadow as I think with a bit of eyeliner your eyes will look much more awake. On some days I just wear mascara as my eyes look smaller the more makeup they have on them.

I finished off this look with Mac lipstick in Jubilee. This is my FAVE nude lipstick and my go-to lipstick for a daily look. It is a lipstick that just makes your lips look better but with hardly any added colour.

I just quickly then put by Glitz and Glam hairpiece in and tied it into a messy fishtail braid. I like this hairstyle as it looks casual yet stylish.

Hope you liked this post!

Bit of a random post, but a few friends and I went down the beach last night and it was so lovely I wanted to share it with you all. In this photo we are all looking a bit disheveled because it was so cold and windy that by the end of it it looked like we had been dragged through a hedge haha! However, despite Welsh weather we decided to light a fire and roast marshmallows.

I know this is a random post, but the beach was so beautiful last night that I wanted to upload some photos of my time last night. The beach for me is just so relaxing and a great place to sit with some friends and have a good old natter. It was so nice seeing them as some of my friends didn't stay in school, so its nice to catch up when we can.

I know Welsh beaches are not exactly Barbados but I still think they are pretty, and I am so lucky to live so close :)

Enough rambling,
hope you enjoyed this post (even though it doesn't exactly show anything haha)

Quick OOTD! Today I wore, my Blanc Noir tee which I bought from River Island. This is a casual top which you can throw on and it looks like you've made an effort. The gold chain detailing and the beaded writing really makes a statement in which you don't have to add too much to it! Saying this, I kept the rest of my outfit really simple and wore Miss Selfridge jeans and my trusty old Nike's. I'm heading out for lunch with a friend and thought this was a stylish, yet casual outfit. On my hands I wore a Topshop ring and my Fossil rose gold watch.

I want to start putting up more beauty posts so I hope to do a 'whats on my face' post soon and also a 'whats in my makeup bag'! (just to keep you updated)

Just doing a quick little review on the hairpiece I was sent from Sally's Glitz and Glam.

First off, the delivery was super duper quick! I ordered it on the Tuesday and by the Thursday it was here. When I first opened the box I was a bit dubious as the hair piece looked tiny and I thought to myself 'how is that going to look like a full head if hair?!', but I was pleasantly surprised!

It took me a while to figure out the best way to wear it, and on the first day it looked a mess, but as the days went on it got easier and easier to style.

The hair is great quality and considering it isn't real hair, I don't think anyone would even notice! It is also so much easier to wear than normal extensions as the hairpiece is applied within minutes! I also know the stars off Geordie Shore wear these, which is the reason I found them as Vicky mentioned them on twitter. I am not one of them people to buy a product just because a star has it, but seeing as their hair always looks amazing and I was in the market for a hairpiece, it seemed to make sense.

Over all a great product and the price was really reasonable at only £34.99. Defiantly recommended for anyone who wears extensions on a day to day biases.

http://sallysglitzglam.co.uk/products/Beauty-Works-Big-Tousled-Hairpiece.html this is the piece I bought, in LA Blonde 613/24.

For full length pictures, I am wearing the hairpiece in my previous blog post.

All opinions are my own, and this product I purchased myself.

It was such a nice day yesturday so me and my boyfriend decided to go for a walk to my local town. I didn't realise how pretty some of the places were and after taking these photos I have really taken it for granted! I thought I would do a quick OOTD. So I wore my Topshop mom jeans with this Topshop white cropped tee. Casual clothing and paired it up with my TKmaxx bag and some Matalan studded sandals.
I will be doing a full review on my hair soon!! I love it!!
Hope you enjoy,
Sophie xxxx

Leather bag on leather trousers today.. Risky. Bought these leather trousers from Missguided but never really knew how to wear them, so today I thought to make them the main feature of the outfit and wear a plain Topshop top.
And I really like the result!
I think it looks casual but still really stylish. I love leather with gold, so wore a rose gold chain necklace from Topshop. My bag was a great find and I absolutely love it!! It was from TKmaxx and I never find anything I really like in there, but when I saw this I knew I had to have it.
I kept this look simple with wearing my Nike's that I got for a bargain in Sports Direct!! £16.99!! BARGAIN
(Excuse the messy room)
Hope you enjoy,

Been absolutely in love with these nails lately and they're so easy to do! If wanted I will do a DIY tutorial in how I do them but they are pretty self explanatory.

I buy the nails off EBay and they come as pointed tips, but I wanted to make them abit more quirky so I chopped the tops off with some straight nail clippers. I really love the colour yellow and wear black and white most days, I went with this colour scheme which turned out quite nice in my opinion. I then stuck a 3D bow on my accent finger just to add a finishing touch which again I bought off EBay.
I love these nails so I thought id share them with you.

It was really sunny in Wales today. But Welsh weather can be deceiving! It looks sunny but it is actually pretty chilly most of the time. Today, however, it tricked me and I ended up taking my cardi off because the temperature matched what I could see.

Forget me rambling, I put this outfit together before I had known the temperature outside (hence the knitwear). I wanted the pink of my cardigan to be a statement, so paired it with a plain black Newlook top and normal black Leggings. However I also loved the idea of having another statement piece to balance it all out and make it complete outfit. This statement piece was the necklace which was from BooHoo. I wore my Matalan loafers to finish off this look. My Great Grandma actually knitted this cardi but I know similar ones are sold on Asos. Pretty plain but a nice summery outfit to put together.

I have a little obsession... It's called Instagram! I love love love it!!!! Following people's lives through pictures is so much more interesting than normal. I try and post as much as possible but mostly food and selfies haha!
Anyways, follow me on @sophgriff23 and follow my life with photos.

I've been absolutely loving this Asos top! I feel like sandy off grease haha. I feel like the off the shoulder neckline is so flattering and would suit most body types. I know I wore this in my last post but I've been wearing it so much. I paired it with an Asos rose gold chain and jeggings. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I went out for a meal with my friends last night so I wanted to go for a casual look which also looked stylish.
I bought the Topshop 'mom' jeans the other day and I absolutely love them! They are so flattering and give a quirky edge to a outfit. I paired them with an Asos off the shoulder top. I love the neckline of this top and think it gives a really flattering look to an outfit. I finished this look off with me studded bottom bag from EBay and some Matalan loafers.

This outfit was a very laid back look, which looks stylish when the fact is I just chucked it together! I bought these jogger looking trousers from Newlook. I really like these trousers as the white stripe down the side makes them look more tailored and more interesting than plain black! I paired this with an oversized white cami from Next. I wanted to make this a casual look yet still stylish. I really like this look.

Sorry it's not a proper picture, but I don't have a photographer haha!
Just chucked on some River Island striped leggings, paired with this Newlook black cami and a denim shirt from Next. Just a casual outfit for a Sunday! I paired this outfit with a gold chain from Topshop and some Nike trainers. As per, my hair was up in a bun haha!
Hope you enjoyed this quick OOTD!

So it was my best friends 19th birthday last Saturday and I decided to buy a new outfit. I found this outfit for £10 (for the skirt and top!) from USC/Republic! Absolute bargain! I loved it, it was so unique and really made a statement! I paired this two piece with some studded flat forms from eBay.

Unfortunately it was the night I hurt my foot haha! Oops

Sophie xx

I've actually torn a ligament in my foot and am on crutches for 2 weeks :( so need some help doing my posts! (With help from my mother)

So this post is an OOTD. I bought this top recently from Topshop for the bargain of £5!! Plus student discount so £4.50!!! I was over the moon as I'd been eyeing this top up for a while on Oh My Love but was on sale in Topshop. I went for a basic black harem style trouser from Newlook because I wanted the colour of the top to stand out! I paired it up with black Nike's and plain black sunglasses to give it a chic easy look. I chucked my hair in a bun as I find it the most easy and wearable way to do my hair.

This time 2 weeks ago, Wales had a heat wave! It was so nice being able to walk outside in a pair of shorts and not worrying about whether or not to take a coat. Aw I miss the sun, however, as I have hurt my foot and am on crutches, am glad that all my friends are not all flocking to the beach and leaving me at home! (Silver linings and all that).
Just a quick post to say that I miss what was our brief summer #rainydayblues

Hi guys,
So this is my first post on my new blog 'bleachedbeauty'!! I went out the other night and thought it would be a fab opportunity to document what I wore. I want to do more posts like this so hopefully this will kick-start it! I am always wearing black so its no surprise that I wore black on a night out. I kept it simple with a simple peplum top and disco pant style leggings. I love gold jewellery and with a plain black outfit I think it really looks fab!
