I had never tried Morphe as a brand before, but had heard so many good things about their eye shadows, so when I found out that they were stocked on BeautyBay.com this palette was straight in my basket.

So here are my opinions...

Lets start with my first impressions. I feel like this palette for me was love at first sight. I know that may seem dramatic but honestly, these colours are just so me.
There is a beautiful selection of colours, as the name suggests mostly warm tones, but for the Autumn months this palette is ideal. Just a word of advice, the online picture makes the palette look quite pink, but in reality its much more brown and neutral.

The Pros of this palette. Firstly, the pricing of this palette, £15.95, for 35 eyeshadows!!!! Its an absolute steal! For the price, I was a bit skeptical of how good the quality would be, but from the swatches, as you can see above, they are so pigmented and creamy that I was blown away. The eyeshadows glide so easily on the lid, and are so easy to blend.
Also, I think if you're new to makeup and don't want to spend a fortune, this palette is perfect as its got everything you need for both a daytime natural look or a dramatic evening smokey eye. Aswell if you're a freelance makeup artist and want a universal palette that will suit all skin tones.
Overall, I think this palette is beautiful. Not only for the colour selection, as I feel these colours are band on trend right now, but the price and quality of these shadows.

The Cons of this palette. Honestly, there isn't much I'd say is wrong with this palette. However, the only thing I could that was wrong with this palette is that I experienced alot of fallout when applying darker colours to the lid. I found that also in the pan when getting product onto the brush there was a lot of excess product left sitting on top of the pan. You can tell a little bit by the second photo above that there was quite a bit of excess product left on the palette.
But a part from that, I really cannot fault this palette.

My last word of it, I feel like if you've been looking for a good all-rounder palette, Morphe 35W is the one to turn to! I love this palette, and will absolutely be purchasing more.

Hope you're all well,
Sophie xxx

This is honestly my favourite time of the year! Crisp air, golden leaves, berry colours and wrapping up warm in the cold.

I love keeping my look neutral so I opted for ripped jeans, a plain white top and a statement coat.

Hope you're all having an amazing start to this new season!

have been wearing clip in extensions for a while now, so I decided to bite the bullet and get bonded extensions.
Being a indecisive person I was very wary about getting them, and was so nervous about going to the consultation.
I know for some this isn't a big decision but for me this was a big step!
So I went along to the consultation with an open mind and I was put so at ease as soon as I stepped in.

The lady who put them in, Steph, was so reassuring and gave me a lot of options for my hair type and how I wanted them to look.
Steph showed me a few different hair extension types, and in the end I opted for Hair Rehab London hair with EasyLocks bonds to keep them in place. I also opted for a non glue method in order to preserve my hair a little more.
I booked the appointment that day to have them put in the week later.

So I went along a week later to have them done.
This is how they looked when she was applying them.
The process flew by, I was expecting to be there for hours but it was so quick.
Steph told me I have around 130 strands of hair in, and took her 2 hours to apply.

Personally I was more worried about how they would look straight, because that's where you can sometimes see if they look fake.
Steph being a hairdresser was fab and cut my natural hair into the extensions and made them look so natural!

They also looked beautiful curled! I am so happy with they final result, but will keep you all updated in how I manage them and how they look in time.

If you are in Wales especially in the Bridgend area, I highly recommend Steph. Follow her on Facebook, her name is 'Steph Williams Hair Extensions'.

Last week in the UK the weather took a bit of a turn for the worst. So I thought it was perfect to start preparing for Autumn looks.

I opted for a classic look, with a black high-neck jumper with 'mom' style jeans. However I loved the way these heels (which I am obsessed with) give that little bit of an extra edge! I absolutely love this look for both an everyday look or drinks with the girls.
I am also loving gold jewellery at the moment, and Primark have a fab selection at the moment and wont break the bank! If you also fancied adding something a little bit extra to an outfit, this New Look pom-pom key-ring looks adorable with any outfit (both day and night!)

So let's just cut to the chase, this lipgloss is BEAUTIFUL. But I mean from Chanel, what do you expect?

This lipgloss is from their new summer collection, and it is so pigmented that it looks like a high shine lipstick. The consistency is so creamy, although slightly sticky, but lasts all day with minimal touch up.

As to be expected, the packaging is so luxurious, making you feel proud to whip this out of your bag. At the price of £22, it is nice to own a classic Chanel colour lipgloss at a lower price than the bags! I can't say enough good things about this product.

Definatly a splurge for summer, but worth it!

For my boyfriend's birthday I took him to London for his first visit.

I love London and with such beautiful weather it really was a perfect weekend. We stayed in Covent Garden which is a stones throw away from everywhere we wanted to go (Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden Piazza).

The first day we went shopping on Oxford and Carnaby street. And obviously I spent way too much money! Then went for an amazing meal in the evening to a steak house! The second day we went to Covent Garden Piazza and watched the street acts and had the lunch in the picture above which was AMAZING! I also couldn't help myself from popping into Chanel and buying something. I bought the most amazing new lipgloss from their new summer range (which I will be doing a blogpost on soon because it is just to dreamy not too)

Overall it was such an amazing few days and I just wanted to share my adventures with you all!

Speak soon,
Love Sophie

A quick update/apology for why I have been MIA recently. Between exam stress and the actual exams I haven't had two minutes to myself to de-stress. I finally finished my exams last week so to celebrate, and relax, my boyfriend and I went on a retreat weekend to a beautiful cottage in Carmathen, West Wales.

The surroundings were beautiful, and it was so nice to relax in a hot tub looking up at the stars. Also the fact that there was 0 signal/wifi, although daunting, was so surprisingly nice! The walks around the countryside really helped clear my head of all university work, even though my walking gear wasn't the most stylish!

Anyway, just a quick post to explain where I've been, but I have so much planned for my blog this summer.

Can we just take a minute to appreciate this palette please?!
Now we have that over, LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL IT IS!!!
As you all know I am a self confessed Urban Decay Naked palette junkie, so when I seen that L'oreal had come out with a similar toned palette to the Naked 3 I ran out of the door to get it.
Now I know I might be late on the hype around these, as I have seen so many people talk about this product, but I wanted to give it a go for a while before I shared my opinions.

So here are my opinions...
Honestly, the swatches of these eye shadows really do not do them justice, these shadows are so pigmented on the lid and last all day.
The colour selection in these palettes are beautiful, and give you shadows for all different types of looks. I've worn this palette for both day and night looks, and I have honestly never had a problem creating a look. I have also used this palette on a darker skin tone and it honesty looked amazing on her skin, especially the more purple cool shades.

These shadows are so creamy and easy to blend, and I love the matte colours to define the crease, especially the 4th colour in for the left. This color in the palette is definitely my favourite and as already said, the swatch really doesn't do it justice. This color is honestly the perfect transition color for me and as much as I hate to say it, is better than most of the matte neutral colours in the Naked Palettes.

I really wish I had a con to say about this palette, but so far I really don't. They don't really give much fall out and for the price of £9.99, you can't really go wrong!

I honestly think this palette is such a good buy and think it looks amazing on so many different skin tones. If you're not looking to invest in a high end palette, or just want to test run the colours before taking the plunge, I would definitely recommend you have a look at these L'oreal nude palettes.

Also, if any of you have tried the neutrals version of this palette, I would love to hear what you think of it!

I really hope this helps,
lots of love,
Sophie xxx

I know it's a bit late but hope you all had a fabulous Easter holiday, and found something fun to do in the beautiful weather we had on bank holiday Monday.
As it was such a beautiful day in Wales on that particular Monday, my boyfriend and I decided to take a walk down to my local beach which is Porthcawl.
And of course you can't go to the beach and not get an ice cream!

This post isn't so much a fashion post (because I just chucked on a baggy jumper for the beach) but just a quick post sharing my adventures.
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and stuffed your faces with all the chocolate!
Lots of love,
Soph xxx

New month, new favourites. It's the same every month but I cannot believe how fast this year is going! Its nearly April, which is so scary! There have been some new favourites this month and also some oldies that I have come back to which I had forgotten about.

So lets begin...

L'oreal Nude Magique Blur cream
So this little number has stolen the show for me this month. As many will know I am in love with the Benefit Porefessional primer, however my bank balance doesn't seem to agree. I have been on the hunt for a good primer that will hide my pores for less price. Finally I have found it! Granted, its not AS good as my beloved Benefit Porefessional but its darn close! The texture of this is very similar to the Benefit Porefessional, in the sense it feels silicone based, and it does a very good job at hiding my pores and creating a good base for my makeup. I have found my makeup applies just as good and the lasting power is really good also! Two thumbs up from me, and at just £9.99!!!

Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
My next beauty favourite for this month is an oldie but a goodie, my tried and tested Urban Decay Naked 2 palette.  There's not really much more good things I can say about this, as I've said it all before. All the colours are beautiful and so versatile, it is so so easy to get both a day time or night time look with this. The shadows are so blendable and really suit my skin tone, as I can imagine they would for most skin tones! I am also a huge fan of the Naked 3 palette, however, the neutral colours in this palette make it my go-to eyeshadow look.

MAC powder blush - Melba
Finally for my beauty favourites for the month is MAC blush in Melba. This is such a beautiful matte shade that goes well with so many different skin tones, especially dark skin! (Picture on Instagram). I was looking for a matte shade as all of my blushes seem to have a shimmer running through it. So I went to MAC and this one caught my eye! (It was a toss up between this and Peaches blush from MAC, so if anyone has tried Peaches I would love to hear your feedback). This is so perfect for a natural flushed look and a little goes a long way.

Gone Girl - Gillian Flynn
Moving onto my non-beauty favourites. There has been so much hype surrounding this book, so when my Nan kindly offered this to me I thought 'Hey, why not?'. I started reading the first few pages and I love it!! I study Criminology in university so this is right up my street! I haven't been able to finish it yet because I have had so much coursework to do but I aim to finish it soon and will hopefully write up a review on my thoughts of it! So no spoilers please!!!

YouTube
Seeing as I am a student, my laptop is my bestfriend when it comes to catching up on my favourite soaps/programmes. I have always loved watching things on YouTube but since starting university I haven't really had the time to as much as I would have liked. However, this month, I have really got back into watching YouTube videos, even if they are just on in the background. My favourite has got to be itsJudyslife while doing my makeup, I cant stop watching them! It seems like ages since I sat down and watched daily vlogs, and now I have got back into it, its like a soap that I cant miss a day of watching!! (comment if you agree, so I don't feel so crazy).

Fugifilm Instax Mini 8
Lastly, I have had this camera for a while now (well since Christmas) and I absolutely love it! It takes such cute little photos, which I pin up on my little notice board. I love the idea that you have the memories there and then to keep forever. I am going to London in June and cannot wait to take this with me to take loads of cute photos!

Thank you for reading,
hope you're all safe and well and had a fabulous month of March.
Lots of love,

I was lucky enough to attend an event in The Ritz, London, yesterday for the launch of kids-scorned.co.uk.
The website is for children who have been affected by infidelity and need someone to talk to. For more information visit their website http://www.kids-scorned.co.uk/

I only managed to take a few photos of the event, (even some classy toilet pics, but its in The Ritz, so its acceptable right?) so I just wanted to write a quick post, with some bad quality pictures, of my outfit.

I am absolutely obsessed with these heels from Public Desire, I feel so Kimmy K in them! I just paired then with some fitted River Island trousers and a plain black New Look blazer, keeping the outfit minimal.
